3 Ways of Fighting the Blues
Are you feeling a bit down & gloomy? If so, maybe it is time to make a change and start fighting the blues. There is something in your daily cycle that is creating the glooms of your lifestyle. Here are a few tips in finding what is causing the blues:
1 Nutrition
How is your diet? Are you getting nutritious food? Are you eating breakfast? Even though you might stuff yourself with “food” – it might not be the right “food” that your body is asking for – which could cause chemical imbalances and create mood swings. You need to feed the engine with the right oil otherwise it will start having hick-ups.
2 Exercise
Do you exercise? If you don’t exercise – maybe the blues are your body’s way of telling you it is not happy with you. Of course it is tough to exercise, but you can start slowly – you don’t need to start running tracks – start by talking a 15 minute walk every day. It is time for you to start stimulating your body for it to become happy with you again.
3 Social
Are you social? You might consider yourself being social when you Facebook but it is also important to go out & meet with friends. Loneliness is one of the largest “illnesses” in the world. It is now time for you to get off the Facebook page and join a class, start volunteering and become active. Once you start doing something you enjoy – you will become social, active and happy again!
