Avoid falling into the procrastination trap. Once you start procrastinating it might take over your life. An evil cycle, which could pile up not only your tasks but also pile up your emotions and happiness. A simple step by step solution in how to avoid procrastination is to make a challenge out of it. Here is how we suggest you to do it!
1 Create a non-procrastination work week: Decide that on Monday through Friday you will not procrastinate on your daily tasks & create a end goal. What is your goal with this week? Are you going to reward yourself, will your goal give you more free time?
2 Create a daily task list: Once you have made a decision that you are going to work on your procrastination. Create a daily task list for each day of your 5 day challenge.
3Start by doing the “have’s” on your list: When you are about to start your non-procrastination week – start by doing the worst tasks first – the “have‘s” of the list because when you run down your list – everything will become much easier to do and it will make you look forward for your next non-procrastination day. If you are feeling overwhelmed don’t forget what your end goal was with this week. Keep going with your tasks – you made a decision and for once you are on a mission to end your procrastination.
4 Reward Yourself w/ the Goal You Set: Once you are complete with your non-procrastination week reward yourself with the goal that you had made in the beginning and give yourself a pat on your shoulder for leveraging off a lot of that weight off your shoulders that was much heavier than the actual tasks that you had to do.
